TCS Contemporary Choral was formed in 1999 and has been performing at Eisteddfodau, concerts and with groups such as the Queensland Pops Orchestra ever since. This dynamic choir performs wide ranging repertoire from jazz standards, musical theatre and pop to more challenging classical and contemporary works. We also attempt a little ‘choralography’ from time to time!
While providing high quality performances is Contemporary’s main focus, there is always time for a bit of fun! In recent years the choir has put on Theatre Restaurants, participated in the Chrismas Wonderland of Lights and met regularly for post-rehearsal refreshments.
New members are always welcome and you can come along to two rehearsals before deciding whether to join.
